Pink Salmon Update
Armin F. Koernig Hatchery:

As of Thursday, September 2, PWSAC had collected 581,000 pink salmon for cost recovery and 139,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 12.4 million the pink salmon return totals 13.2 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for September 2 was 6.1 million.  

Cannery Creek Hatchery:

As of Thursday, September 2, PWSAC had collected 291,000 pink salmon for cost recovery and 134,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 17.8 million the pink salmon return totals 18.2 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for September 2 was 5.1 million.

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

As of Thursday, September 2, PWSAC had collected 1.5 million pink salmon for cost recovery and 173,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 14.4 million the pink salmon return totals 16.0 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for September 2 was 5.7 million.

PWSAC Pink Salmon - AFK, CCH, WNH combined:

As of Thursday, September 2, PWSAC had collected 2.3 million pink salmon for cost recovery and 445,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 44.6 million the PWSAC pink salmon return totals 47.4 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for September 2 was 16.9 million.

As of Sunday, August 29, PWSAC had collected 569,000 pink salmon for cost recovery and 68,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 12.4 million the pink salmon return totals 13.0 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 29 was 5.9 million.  

Cannery Creek Hatchery:

As of Sunday, August 29, PWSAC had collected 283,000 pink salmon for cost recovery and 67,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 17.1 million the pink salmon return totals 17.5 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 29 was 5.1 million.

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

As of Sunday, August 29, PWSAC had collected 1.5 million pink salmon for cost recovery and 93,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 14.9 million the pink salmon return totals 16.4 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 29 was 5.6 million.

PWSAC Pink Salmon - AFK, CCH, WNH combined:

As of Sunday, August 29, PWSAC had collected 2.3 million pink salmon for cost recovery and 228,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 44.4 million the PWSAC pink salmon return totals 46.9 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 29 was 16.5 million.

As of Wednesday, August 25, PWSAC had collected 552,000 pink salmon for cost recovery and 23,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 12.5 million the pink salmon return totals 13.1 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 25 was 5.2 million.  

Cannery Creek Hatchery:

As of Wednesday, August 25, PWSAC had collected 271,000 pink salmon for cost recovery and 13,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 17.0 million the pink salmon return totals 17.3 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 25 was 5.0 million.

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

As of Wednesday, August 25, PWSAC had collected 1.4 million pink salmon for cost recovery and 29,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 15.3 million the pink salmon return totals 16.7 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 25 was 5.2 million.

PWSAC Pink Salmon - AFK, CCH, WNH combined:

As of Wednesday, August 25, PWSAC had collected 2.3 million pink salmon for cost recovery and 65,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 44.8 million the PWSAC pink salmon return totals 47.1 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 25 was 15.4 million.

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

As of Sunday, August 22, PWSAC had collected 1.4 million pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 14.4 million the pink salmon return totals 15.8 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 22 was 4.6 million.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 69%.  The anticipated female percentage for August 22 was 58%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 3.6 pounds per fish.

PWSAC Pink Salmon - AFK, CCH, WNH combined:

As of Sunday, August 22, PWSAC had collected 2.2 million pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 43.2 million the PWSAC pink salmon return totals 45.5 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 22 was 14.1 million

PWSAC achieved the assigned pink salmon revenue goal yesterday.

As of Wednesday, August 18, PWSAC had collected 266,000 pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 16.1 million the pink salmon return totals 16.4 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 18 was 4.6 million.

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

As of Wednesday, August 18, PWSAC had collected 1.4 million pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 14.2 million the pink salmon return totals 15.6 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 18 was 3.9 million.

PWSAC Pink Salmon - AFK, CCH, WNH combined:

As of Wednesday, August 18, PWSAC had collected 2.2 million pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 41.5 million the PWSAC pink salmon return totals 43.6 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 18 was 12.0 million.

To date, PWSAC has collected approximately 98% of the assigned pink salmon revenue goal.

As of Sunday, August 15, PWSAC had collected 266,000 pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 14.6 million the pink salmon return totals 14.9 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 15 was 4.1 million.

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

As of Sunday, August 15, PWSAC had collected 1.4 million pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 12.5 million the pink salmon return totals 13.9 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 15 was 3.2 million.

PWSAC Pink Salmon - AFK, CCH, WNH combined:

As of Sunday, August 15, PWSAC had collected 2.1 million pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 36.4 million the PWSAC pink salmon return totals 38.4 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 15 was 10.0 million.

To date, PWSAC has collected approximately 94% of the assigned pink salmon revenue goal.

As of Wednesday, August 11, PWSAC had collected 1.4 million pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 9.3 million the pink salmon return totals 10.7 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 11 was 2.3 million.

PWSAC Pink Salmon - AFK, CCH, WNH combined:

As of Wednesday, August 11, PWSAC had collected 2.1 million pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 26.8 million the PWSAC pink salmon return totals 28.9 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 11 was 7.3 million.

As of Sunday, August 8, PWSAC had collected 266,000 pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 8.0 million the pink salmon return totals 8.3 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 8 was 2.7 million.

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

As of Sunday, August 8, PWSAC had collected 1.4 million pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 6.0 million the pink salmon return totals 7.3 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 8 was 1.6 million. 

PWSAC Pink Salmon - AFK, CCH, WNH combined:

As of Sunday, August 8, PWSAC had collected 2.1 million pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 18.4 million the PWSAC pink salmon return totals 20.5 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 8 was 5.5 million.

Cannery Creek Hatchery:

As of Wednesday, August 4, PWSAC had collected 266,000 pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 2.8 million the pink salmon return totals 3.0 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 4 was 1.7 million.  The female percentage from the SHA commercial harvest on August 3 was 24%.  The anticipated female percentage for August 3 was 24%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 4.1 pounds per fish.

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

As of Wednesday, August 4, PWSAC had collected 1.4 million pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 3.2 million the pink salmon return totals 4.5 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 4 was 920,000.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 35%.  The anticipated female percentage for August 4 was 26%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 4.1 pounds per fish.

Cannery Creek Hatchery:

As of Sunday, August 1, PWSAC had collected 216,000 pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 1.2 million the pink salmon return totals 1.4 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 1 was 1.0 million.  The female percentage from the most recent sale was 19%.  The anticipated female percentage for July 31 was 18%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 4.3 pounds per fish.

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

As of Sunday, August 1, PWSAC had collected 842,000 pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 1.0 million the pink salmon return totals 1.9 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for August 1 was 567,000.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 15%.  The anticipated female percentage for July 31 was 26%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 3.8 pounds per fish.

Cost recovery began at AFK on Tuesday, July 27.  As of Wednesday, July 28, PWSAC had collected 90,800 pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 188,000 the pink salmon return totals 279,000 fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for July 28 was 73,000.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 9%.  The anticipated female percentage for July 28 was 15%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 3.7 pounds per fish. 

Cannery Creek Hatchery:

Cost recovery began at CCH this morning.  The morning SHA estimate is 40,000 to 50,000 pink salmon.

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

Cost recovery began at WNH on Tuesday, July 27.  As of Wednesday, July 28, PWSAC had collected 136,000 pink salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 228,000 the pink salmon return totals 364,000 fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for July 28 was 146,000.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 10%.  The anticipated female percentage for July 28 was 20%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 3.8 pounds per fish.

To date, PWSAC has collected approximately 10% of the assigned pink salmon revenue goal.

Main Bay Hatchery:

As of Wednesday, July 21, approximately 1.1 million sockeye salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for July 21 was 867,000.

Pink Salmon Update
Armin F. Koernig Hatchery:

The preseason AFK pink salmon return forecast is 6.2 million fish.  The morning SHA estimate is 2,000 to 5,000 pink salmon. 

Cannery Creek Hatchery:

The preseason CCH pink salmon return forecast is 5.1 million fish.  The morning SHA estimate is 10,000 to 20,000 pink salmon.

Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

The preseason WNH pink salmon return forecast is 5.9 million fish.  Cost recovery began this morning with a SHA estimate of 5,000 to 15,000 fish.

As of Wednesday, July 14, approximately 151,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for July 14 was 303,000.

Port Chalmers Remote Release:

As of Wednesday, July 14, approximately 236,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for July 14 was 831,000.

As of Wednesday, July 7, approximately 950,000 sockeye salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for July 7 was 689,000.

As of Sunday, July 4, approximately 141,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for July 4 was 231,000.

Port Chalmers Remote Release:

As of Sunday, July 4, approximately 197,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for July 4 was 700,000.

As of Wednesday, June 30, PWSAC had collected 540,000 chum salmon for cost recovery and 19,000 brood.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 1.8 million the chum salmon return totals 2.4 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for June 30 was 1.1 million

PWSAC achieved the assigned chum salmon revenue goal on June 27.

Armin F. Koernig Hatchery:

As of Sunday, June 27, approximately 110,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 27 was 172,000.

Port Chalmers Remote Release:

As of Sunday, June 27, approximately 134,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 27 was 514,000.

As of Sunday, June 27, approximately 540,000 sockeye salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 27 was 443,000.

As of Sunday, June 27, PWSAC had collected 538,000 chum salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 1.5 million the chum salmon return totals 2.0 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for June 27 was 917,000.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 70%.  The anticipated female percentage for June 27 was 47%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 6.4 pounds per fish. 

The estimated age composition of the cost recovery chum salmon harvested on June 23 was: 0% age-6, 9% age-5, 91% age-4, and 0% age-3. 

PWSAC achieved the assigned chum salmon revenue goal yesterday.

Armin F. Koernig Hatchery:

As of Wednesday, June 23, approximately 90,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 23 was 139,000.

Port Chalmers Remote Release:

As of Wednesday, June 23, approximately 111,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 23 was 407,000.

As of Wednesday, June 23, approximately 333,000 sockeye salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 23 was 229,000.

As of Wednesday, June 23, PWSAC had collected 416,000 chum salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 1.4 million the chum salmon return totals 1.8 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for June 23 was 755,000.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 61%.  The anticipated female percentage for June 23 was 44%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 6.3 pounds per fish.

The estimated age composition of the cost recovery chum salmon harvested on June 20 was: 1% age-6, 15% age-5, 83% age-4, and 1% age-3.

To date, PWSAC has collected approximately 77% of the assigned chum salmon revenue goal.

Armin F. Koernig Hatchery:

As of Sunday, June 20, approximately 75,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 20 was 108,000.

Port Chalmers Remote Release:

As of Sunday, June 20, approximately 86,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 20 was 322,000.

Chum Salmon Update
Wally Noerenberg Hatchery:

As of Monday, June 21, PWSAC had collected 337,000 chum salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 1.4 million the chum salmon return totals 1.7 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for June 21 was 683,000.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 53%.  The anticipated female percentage for June 21 was 44%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 6.5 pounds per fish.

The estimated age composition of the cost recovery chum salmon harvested on June 20 was: 1% age-6, 15% age-5, 83% age-4, and 1% age-3.

To date, PWSAC has collected approximately 62% of the assigned chum salmon revenue goal.

Armin F. Koernig Hatchery:

As of Sunday, June 20, approximately 75,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 20 was 108,000.

Port Chalmers Remote Release:

As of Sunday, June 20, approximately 86,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 20 was 322,000.

As of Wednesday, June 16, PWSAC had collected 216,000 chum salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 1.2 million the chum salmon return totals 1.4 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for June 16 was 438,000.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 57%.  The anticipated female percentage for June 16 was 36%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 6.3 pounds per fish.

The estimated age composition of the cost recovery chum salmon harvested on June 14 was: 0% age-6, 19% age-5, 81% age-4, and 0% age-3.

To date, PWSAC has collected approximately 39% of the assigned chum salmon revenue goal.

As of Sunday, June 13, approximately 38,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 13 was 38,000.

Port Chalmers Remote Release:

As of Sunday, June 13, approximately 38,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 13 was 138,000.

As of Sunday, June 13, approximately 34,000 sockeye salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 13 was 34,000.

As of Sunday, June 13, PWSAC had collected 181,000 chum salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 1.1 million the chum salmon return totals 1.3 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for June 13 was 316,000.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 43%.  The anticipated female percentage for June 13 was 29%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 6.0 pounds per fish. 

The estimated age composition of the cost recovery chum salmon harvested on June 9 was: 1% age-6, 25% age-5, 74% age-4, and 0% age-3.

To date, PWSAC has collected approximately 33% of the assigned chum salmon revenue goal.

Armin F. Koernig Hatchery:

As of Wednesday, June 9, approximately 27,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 9 was 19,000.

Port Chalmers Remote Release:

As of Wednesday, June 9, approximately 34,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 9 was 71,000.

As of Wednesday, June 9, PWSAC had collected 111,000 chum salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 930,000 the chum salmon return totals 1.0 million fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for June 9 was 140,000.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 37%.  The anticipated female percentage for June 9 was 25%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 6.1 pounds per fish. 

The estimated age composition of the cost recovery chum salmon harvested on June 7 was: 1% age-6, 18% age-5, 81% age-4, and 0% age-3.

To date, PWSAC has collected approximately 20% of the assigned chum salmon revenue goal.

As of Sunday, June 6, approximately 21,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 6 was 6,000.

Port Chalmers Remote Release:

As of Sunday, June 6, approximately 16,000 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 6 was 42,000.

PWSAC’s preseason forecast for WNH is 1.8 million chum salmon with a broodstock goal of 194,000.  As of Sunday, June 6, PWSAC had collected 64,000 chum salmon for cost recovery.  Combined with an estimated commercial CPF catch of 757,000 the chum salmon return totals 821,000 fish.  The anticipated cumulative run entry for June 6 was 78,000.  The female percentage from the sale yesterday was 44%.  The anticipated female percentage for June 6 was 24%.  The average weight from the most recent sale was 6.2 pounds per fish.

The estimated age composition of the chum salmon harvested on June 3 was: 1% age-6, 23% age-5, 76% age-4, and 0% age-3.

To date, PWSAC has collected approximately 12% of the assigned chum salmon revenue goal.

Armin F. Koernig Hatchery:

PWSAC’s preseason forecast for AFK is 344,000 chum salmon.  As of Wednesday, June 2, approximately 9,300 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 2 was 2,000.

Port Chalmers Remote Release:

PWSAC’s preseason forecast for Port Chalmers is 863,000 chum salmon.  As of Wednesday, June 2, approximately 9,600 chum salmon have been harvested by the commercial CPF.  The anticipated cumulative harvest for June 2 was 11,000.

PWSAC’s preseason forecast for MBH is 884,000 sockeye salmon with a broodstock goal of 8,900.  The estimated commercial CPF harvest through Sunday, June 6, is unavailable.
